It pulls your building's footprint from public records (the Microsoft and Esri building footprint datasets), then estimates roof area from the pitch you select. It's a strong starting number, not a tape measure: records can lag new construction, and Double J Builds confirms every measurement on site before any work is priced final.
Is the ballpark price your final estimate?
No, and it says so right on it. It's an estimated range from our current shingle rate, so you know the neighborhood before anyone is on your property. Your real number comes after Double J Builds walks the job, and it comes in writing.
What happens after I send a request?
It lands in the Double J Builds inbox instantly, with your measurements and preferred visit window attached if you used them. They reach out to confirm the details and the time.
